Westley Eckhardt (Swami Shanmugananda) is director and trainer of trainers in 'Yoga Center Madrid', Psychologist and Cofounder of A.I.P.Y.S. A disciple and deputy director of Swami Vishnudevanandas organisation, he led the ashrams of Canada and the Bahamas for 17 years. Profound connoisseur of the Hindu tradition with more than three decades of experience in his teaching. Specialised in Oriental Philosophy, Yogic Tradition, Meditation, Mindfulness and 'Mindset'. I added to my baggage three master's degrees in the United Kingdom: a master's degree in psychology, a master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in philosophy.
Mindfulness - Workshop
This workshop presents a smooth and accessible introduction to the practice of mindfulness, providing the basic tools to get started.< p>
It is well known the recognition that today enjoy different the practices of meditation and mindfulness, there are countless studies and research that are carried out, and that endorse the extraordinary benefits that originate their methods.
We will take advantage of this workshop to introduce some of the basic techniques that establish, enhance and lend an inestimable help to the organism and all its systems so that they come together in what we all want: health, well-being and inner peace.
These techniques will take us to the specific care of the body and act as a key that opens our physical dimension, the heart emotions and consciousness.
The workshop is designed for those that the concept of mindfulness is new. The basic practices are presented to be able to use them in daily life. It is an opportunity to take a break from demanding routines and recover energy.
