La Crème de la Crème
Our yoga teacher training courses are taught by YC Institute's most experienced teachers. They combine teaching experience with lifelong practice and dedication.
Various members of the faculty were trained personally by famous masters such as Swami Vishnu-devananda, BKS Iyengar, Sri Patthabi Jois, Shri Chimnoy, and more.
Many of our teachers are also trained in the sciences and humanities. They are able to elegantly combine the ancient Indian yoga tradition with contemporary expertise.
Gauri has created a unique pedagogical system for the training of Yoga Teachers. With her pedagogy approach, she has transformed the method and practice of teaching: design of programs; organisation of classes, communication skills, class environments; how to teach; specific vocabulary and psychological evaluation.

Christine Karuna Curtis
I believe that when children (and adults) learn techniques for well-being, relaxation and inner fulfilment they can approach life’s challenges with more ease, confidence and compassion.
Yoga and mindfulness introduced at an early age can encourage self-worth and body awareness through physical and mindful activities that are noncompetitive thereby fostering cooperation, empathy and compassion rather than opposition.
