Meditation & Mindfulness

Sit in stillness. Focus your attention Let your breathing move naturally. Immerse yourself in your inner Being. Internalize your senses and your mind by letting yourself be absorbed by silence.

Meditation

Comfort and quietness

The state of conscious relaxation is Meditation; prolong the state in comfort and tranquility of a posture suitable for the body or in the activity of our daily life, is the goal of our sessions and exercises. It is about opening a new perspective that is deeply rooted in the calm and serenity of our body and mind.

A fascinating journey

Meditation is the most fascinating journey towards inner freedom; it is not fleeing, escaping, getting away from the so-called everyday reality; rather it is understanding, understanding, being part of it. A word that can help understand this state is the lotus flower that is in the water. It is the fight against the constant agitation of our mental content, almost at times similar to a runaway and uncontrolled horse.

Meditate, meditate, meditate

Meditation in its purest state is the absence of thoughts of "I" and "mine", it is to calm the wild sea of our mind, and to hear more beautiful of the sounds that is the inner silence. To meditate is to hear, feel, smell, see, touch beyond the mental structure; To meditate is to perceive the inexplicable, to transcend the limitations of time and space; It is discovering the eternal here and now.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a quality of human consciousness characterised by an accepting awareness of and enhanced attention to the constant stream of lived experience. Being mindful increases engagement with the present moment and allows a clearer understanding of how thoughts and emotions can impact our health and quality of life.

Mindfulness can be cultivated through meditation practice. Mindfulness meditation practices have been formalised in programs such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) as well as other programs. Although mindfulness is an inherent human capacity that has been examined introspectively for millennia, scientific interest in mindfulness is burgeoning in the fields of medicine, psychology, social work and business.

"Mindfulness can turn into a tool to teach people to cope while they continue on the same old course that caused the problems they sought meditation to address in the first place. In order for mindfulness to be genuine article, it has to be connected to others, to the community, to the larger environment."
