Lino Miele

The Full Vinyasa System

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is vigorous; it’s remarkable and it's joyful. It’s the progressively challenging postures strung together with coordinated breath and movement that encourages body-mind unification. That encourages stillness inherent in the present moment. With the grace of a ballet dancer, and the wisdom of a Yogi, Lino shows students the gentle side intrinsic to Ashtanga. His teaching tool is the Full Vinyasa System, which he refers to as “the scientific method.”

Pattabhi Jois

Disciple of Pattabhi Jois

Lino Miele, direct disciple of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, shares the knowledge and wisdom that was passed on to him by his guru.

Lino Miele's story

Lino started yoga in the early 1980's. In his search of a guru he traveled to India in 1988, where Lino met his guru Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Guruji.

Lino Researches the Ashtanga System

Lino researched the Ashtanga system and eventually wrote a manuscript under the guidance of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The manuscript contained a study of the exact vinyasa in the first and intermediate series. It was published under the title "Ashtanga Yoga Book" in 1994.
